Althogh the poem is expected to be published somewhere else, I couldn't resist myself from the temptation of posting here in sajha also ! Here it goes:

A peerless, superlative piece of meaningful art. A masterpiece. I don't remember when did I see last time yati uchchha koti ko kavita. You have put the whole of our contemporary history in a tiny time capsule without a single corrupted letter. Thousands years later, we will be reading our history in your poem in full.

As one of my Nepali language teacher in high school would say, "kyaa mithaas, kyaa laya, kyaa dhun! Phillipines(sp?) ko pustakaari diun diun laagne. [Noname, tapaile ta kharaat kabitaa lekhnu bhayechhani]!* I read the poem three times. I am going to read it loudly before I go to bed later this morning (after my roommates get up and go to class). :) Bhawadiye, "Tukuchaa aa ma talaai kabitaa banaaidinchhu" :) M.P. * My teacher's exact quote was: Thitaa, taile ta kharaant kabitaa dadkaaichhas ni!

noname: I am an occasional reader of Nepali poems. I can't assess the quality from literary pov, but I liked your poem. It has ability to produce memorable quotable quotes. Sambhaabanaa haru unnati hoinan. Banda Sambhabanaa haru chunauti hun.

Thank you all for stopping by ! Madhupark and Garima downplayed all my early teen enthusiasm to write poems, and thanks to Sajha even after so many years I am still on board writing poems. Gerox thanks! aa-mat wish you a wonderful time back in Nepal. Nepe, when I posted the poem, I never thought that I will get such encouraging words. MP, my teacher would have said MULA KASKO CHORIS ;) Biswo thanks for quoting those lines. I could 'drag' Biswo to post something in poetry section, that is a feat on itself ! :)

Nonameji, Definitely a timeless piece. However, what I find more interesting is that you have also explained a quantum paradox called "Schrodinger's cat" so well which talks about the collapse of wave function once we open the box of Sambhavanaharu. Why don't you show your poem to a Physics professor as well?

Definitely very well written. Last poem I read this beautiful was Ishwor Ballav's "Uttargami Megh haru" that was in last century.

One funny incident about Madhuparka/Garima. I was in Madhuparka's office and the editors were digging into the stack of poetry. "Tyo Kabita chhitto khojnus, PRADHANMANTRI ko call ayo".

Gokul, regarding Schrodinger's cat, all I can say is I wish I never had met those SAMBHABANAS! It never occurred to me before that Schrodinger's cat is still making rounds! Here is another paradox: If I do not accept that the poem is good enough, then I will be questioning the authority of so may poets and critiques (Which I cannot do, as my knowledge in poetry is limited!). If I do accept that the poem is good, then that will be an act of conceit (Which is also not good for a novice writer like me). Sitara and Nshrestha, thank you very much!
