As far I know there are three techniques in identifying a nepali.
technique one
1) Put a shoe with its face down.
A nepali person will surely put the shoe  with its face up

Technique two
2) Touch that person's throat
A nepali person will surely blow air over your hand and vice versa.

Technique 3
3) Ask if they want to have momo
A nepali person will never say no to free momo

Aba timilai herera kasle nepali bhanxa ra dhoti prasad. Tehi dui thari lai herera nai ho nepali bhanne.

while crossing the one way road if you look left and right then you are nepali.
