 Request for Initial Evidence I-485 Birth certificate

Hello,

I had applied for I-485 for my wife and we got a mail saying the we have to resubmit a Birth certificate and the birth certificate is an original one and translated one it worked when we got a visa form the embassy.I don't get it why they want agin the same think are they trying to delay our case or wats going on does any one have any idea about this situation please let me know. thank your for taking time.

Get a new one from back home. Usually most of the city or village office have a birth certificate template these days with English & Nepali.

It was a new one with both nepali and english translation, birth certificate form the village.

Resubmit again and see what they say assuming everything is correct. Check the serial no (Darta number) and match with both English and Nepali format.

easy way would be make an affidavit from both mom and dad attesting that that you are their children with their original signature, should work, worked for me.
