Bomb exploded at former army chief's house


KOL Report

KATHMANDU, Aug 18 - An unidentified group Thursday evening exploded a bomb at the residence of former Army Chief and member of Raj Parisad Satchit Shumsher Rana in the capital.
According to police, a socket bomb was exploded at Rana's house at Jorpati at about 8 p.m. this evening.

There are no reports of casualties or major damage in the explosion.

In yet another incident, Maoists today exploded a bomb at Bhaktapur Durbar Square. (snn)
