It's one thing to be an active Sajha contributor by taking, to use the layman's term, 'piss' on someone in a healthy manner, but it is quite another to pick up petty excuses to engage the other party in a decidedly confrontational manner to try and prove one's point, and that is by bringing one's personal matters to the fore. Now that to me is harrassment rather than any thing, and those who spew the basest of vidictive verbal abuse to score personal gains at the expense of one's humility and genuine thoghtfulness, be that in a forum such as Sajha's or elsewhere, derseve none of my sympathy or anyone else's. Those whose interests sits elewhere and yes, particularly those who cannot bring themselves to follow what's generally accepted as its standard norm should not even bother visiting Sajha or any other sites for that matter. Those of us in need of light humour and entertainment and those with an appetite to absorb and where possible, engage in so a many meaningful debates that takes place on a daily basis in these Sajha forums, could do well without such, dare I say, uncivilised behaviours.

I find that people end up debating the skills and intellect of each other in order to 'win' or justify their positions rather than debating issues at hand with a view to reaching some kind of mutual understanding (however hard this might be).Wish there were more people who thought like you. I don't know why people like to pull each others legs, and pick on them in the very first chance they get. I myself have seen such behaviour in many places, looks like the best way is to ignore. People with a bit of intelligence will figure out what those people are upto.

Considering so many of the discussions lately emotions are higher than normal, high enough in many it would seem to force the concepts of any type of actual debate or discussion out the window. I'd also like to add that this type of behavior is not neccessarly wide spread amoung all of the posters here, rather it's the repeated back and forth actions of a few.

Me neither Matrix. An all too familiar social trait - a perrenial one, I suppose. And it's perhaps more relevant to us Nepalis. Can't spk for others.

Oh yes, the majority of the posters are all well-meaning people who make it a point of visiting the site for all sorts of genuine reasons, and suffice it to say, Sajha caters well to needs of its surfers - the intertainment value, in particular. And then, there are those - the disaffected few - who visit this site with obvious intentions to try and disrupt what others enjoy most: interaction between/ and sharing of thoughts amongst Nepalis worldwide; the all embracing spirit of Sajha - the name says it all. You saw it first hand in this very thread how pathetically low people get with their act of personality-bashing - our poor old Shree5 being the latest victim. I have seen loads of such instances in countless other Sajha threads. I think, enough said about that; I can go on forever with my griping and pining.
