it is something like this..

I have a form ..like any regular form with name last name address phone number etc..
some of them are the required field..but 1 field is not a required field..So the non -required field which is not marked with * is coming more towards left side....and it seems to be mis-aligned...

hope you got it...and could help me out with this bug. t

Why don't you post the link of the page you're having problem with. Most likely, something to do with style definition

I think you defined the style with *, first of all make all the fields in one div and define the style definition then put the * in <font> and style them later.

I guess this is what you are missing.

nyshangal,
An extra suggestion I would like to give you is try to start your web page from scratch. What I meant to say is reset all the default style of the browser. You can get online CSS script to do this.

Hi Gohtalo,

I am not sure css alone can solve that thing. You still need to write some some javascripts to avoid cross browser problems and other issues.I think the best way would be to use jquery tooltip plugin.

Here is a discussion going on the topic.Might be useful for you.

Thx

yes..i tried to use image sprites for category tabs.(there are three tabs) it is working fine in all the browsers..but in ie6..it is not working...it works well for default..it shows three tabs..but when i click on any tabs..(i.e it becomes active).then the image which should be displayed ..is not showing...at all.i gave some positioning for that...
what i see is..ie6 is not taking the second image..i.e,,when it becomes..active...
it is just not taking active class property :(

Try this link: http://csscreator.com/node/31976

Furthermore IE6 does not recognize :hover, :focus event properly and it only allows this property in anchor tag.
