Bush is liberating Iraqis in his own way&.by killing, maiming.... may be by raping them.

GENEVA --The number of casualties in Baghdad is so high that hospitals have stopped counting the number of people treated, the International Committee of the Red Cross said Sunday.

Please read full story in the following link:
Red Cross says hospitals no longer counting casualties

Ofcourse there will be civilian casualties when people try to fight....if they dont want to die they should back off....and I dont believe all the Iraqi lies....
and what about all the people Saddam and his people have killed?....didnt you hear and see....hundreds of men's bones they found...on tv....or do you think our media is like Saddams and Arab worlds media too??
Biruwa Posted on 06-Apr-03 01:43 PM

bhenda2,

The bones found were actually of those iraqi soldiers who died fighting iran a decade ago. They had been repatriated by Iran just a month ago and the Iraqis were in the process of returning those remains to their families.

This is just one more example of how a simple person can be deluged with false information. The western media flashed the possibility of those bones being "mass grave" hundreds of times but when the time came to confirm about their real identity they whispered once. This is how the western propaganda machine works.

Biruwa what false information are you talking about?? About Iraq winning the war? Yeh I saw the bones but did not follow up on it afterwards thats not a medias fault...
MadMax Posted on 06-Apr-03 03:23 PM

There are speculations that some of the skeletal remains may be of Saddam's political opponents or "traitors" of his Baath Party.
MadMax Posted on 06-Apr-03 03:29 PM

I completely agree with Bhenda, civilian casualties are bound to happen. Name one war/battle that have had no civilian casualties (direct/indirect)? Besides, Saddam has been using his citizens as "human shields." The Allied troops cannot take responsibility in this matter.

I think some of you are just plain naive. Some of the casuallties were orchestrated by Saddam's goons - to give the coalition forces a bad image. Now that Saddam wants Baghdad to be the last battle, there is going to even more civilian casualties. These casualties have to be overlooked when you look at the bigger picture.
