cool man cool.. do you know how to or what fonts to download to read the chinese and japanese versions of sajha?

Hehe, I think I know who Nhhuchhe is!

Babelfish has a long way to go.

Mindestens auf der Deutschen Seite findet man kaum einen lesbaren Satz.

For example:
log in = Maschienenbordbuch innen

it translated "log" as an instrument log book (such as a ship's log), and "in" as inside.

It's easy for an automated dictionary to translate words, even to have some algorithms that pick the most likely translation of words that have multiple meanings. But to translate expressions, to get meanings correct... THAT is a challenge that computers cannot do... at least yet.

Yup http://babelfish.altavista.com is a really cool site. It is especially fun to show off your skills in different languages by translating your english in different languages and using extensive copy-paste skills to amaze others in chat rooms with your linguistic abilities. :)

This site has been a part of the search engine Altavista for quite a while now, and although not perfect as Arnico has pointed out, it could give you some ammunition to tackle your language barriers.

And yes it is indeed a piece of cake once you find out about it!

Guys, I think the translator is also available at www.dictionary.com

And it has more languages that you can tanslate your speech into, so it indeed is something that you can show off to your friends. I amazed my friend's gf the other day when i could respond to her in spanish faster than she could (on msn)!
