U r lucky khimu! Because the first time I did, it was my worst nightmare :-(, Never ever tried after that!, eventhought it was my dad's dream that I would know how to be a good horse rider someday! You know what happened, I still giggle when I remember that, eventhough I cried myself a river then. I was all excited and eager to learn horse riding, especially now that my younger sis was doing it almost every evening. That was my day! I thought! I was like wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Wooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooo, it's going to be fun! The grand moment came. I was standing near our horse. She was a very good horse, never really gave trouble to anyone. I had started to love her. Now I was all excited! My dad climbed up the stirrups and on the horse and showed me how to do it and how to hold the reins and other sorts of techniques. I nodded my head and said, I know it! My turn came. I tried on my own first to climb up, couldn't! So my dad helped me, somehow I was now riding the horse. Now, I was suppose to direct the horse and make it walk. Gosh! Once I was riding the horse, i started seeing stars, I started shouting crazy asking baba to bring me down. Instead of helping me get down :-(, He was scolding me not to shout but concentrate and not pull the reins. Only if he knew what a nightmare I was going thru, amids all these hassels, I pulled the horses rein so hard that it threw me on the ground *thad*. Ouch! that hurts! If it had been that much, it would have been ok! To my dissapointment, as soon as I fell down on the floor *thad*, I heard a roar of laughter from somehwere near. I am down, sobbing and wiping my tears and trying to remove grass off my clothes. When I heard a noise, I looked up, Oh my Gosh! there were like 10 ppL sitting up who had been apparently watching me trying to ride the horse! They were still laughing! Oh my gosh! I was embarrased, hurt and what not! And my dad was mad on me at the same time. Gosh, I had so many things to deal with at the same time. At that moment, it was a saddo day for me, but now I miss it :-)! After that, I was scared to even go near that horse! Gosh!
