Hey guys and galz i got a question for ya, give me a right one hai (a,b,c,d)
Q:-Feudal society was characterized by:
a. a hieratchical system of ralationships and obligations.
b. the rule of a strong central government.
c. increasing consolidation of power by Frankish Kings.
d. the absence of hostility between neighboring fiefs.

as far as I know there wasn't any strong central govt during feudalism.D obviously didn't make any sense to me.But however I agree with both a and c.I think answer is c.Don't blame me if I am wrong hai.

The answer is A.
Choice B is incorrect as it implies that an egalitarian society guarantees a weak central government. The opposite doesn't automatically hold true for a feudal society either. It could, but not necessarily so. Too many examples of regional barons wielding power equal to that of the feudal lords to whom they were beholden. They were well advised of not making too much of a show of it though, lest lest their liege lords felt threatened. Then it was 'witches brew' time.
Choice C. is rejected as consolidation of power of the Germanic barbarian kings is not a unique and defining instance of feudalism. It existed before them and it does so today as well. Additionally, I am none too sure that the rule of the Frankish kings can really be defined as a form of feudalism. The structures of their state didnt quite possess the stratification that is associated with feudalism. That came a nearly millenia later with the kings who later ruled the same land later known as France.
Choice D. is a no go. Self explanatory.
Choice Eeeeeeee.. All or None of the above ?

See Feudalism is a system of extortion and Protection.
In medieval Europe, (feudal) lords controlled large areas .. and there were many lords.. like tarai ko jamindaar haroo. then they had people working for them..they had a system of sano-tino dictator governmnet k.. hindin filim ko Thakur saab jastai.. then they would collect tax.. and in return of that tax, they would protect and rule the SERFS (serfs bhaneko janata..)
So feudalism bujhna yeso euta duita hindi filim hera..aani kalo manche lai.. goro le replace gari deu.. thakkai tyahi ho.. yo bhanda simple way chaina.. or go read a book on Medieval European hisatory.
