Inquiry blames drunk and drugged Prince for royal slaughter

Now it was Friday night or evening
The royal family had been convening
It was such a weekly thing
All were there for another fling

Now came in the young crown prince
Some ladies gave a wink some a wince
After all he would be king
So happy to think of the future thing

Fast he went as in his car
There he stood behind the bar
Turning around to drink from the bottle
Soon he drank it at full throttle

No one knows just what was said
But soon Dipendra was sent off to bed
Since the prince was feeling woozie
Paras carried him out for a snoozie

No one knows what went through his head
But he was soon up and out of bed
About his sweetheart feeling sad
He made a plan that made him glad

You won’t deny me of my sweet suzzie
I will just get my cold steel uzzie
Then upchucking in a pan
He turned his thoughts to Nirajan

Now it is not for us to say
But it is whispered that he was gay
Taking a last drink from his fridge
Out he went across the bridge

Turning first to his king
In his ears he heard a ring
Shots from his automatic uzzie
Found their mark from head to shoes
Now the blood began to ooze

Soon the queen came to his aide
Then she was by the gun repaid
For the love she felt for him
Situation looking awfully grim

Dhipendra then asked for the gun
He was repaid by this dutiful son
Shruti came next to her mother’s side
There was nowhere left for her to hide

Running about the party hall
He made sure they all did fall
To be sure they all were dead
He put an extra bullet in their head.

Soon feeling full of dread
Wished he had stayed in bed
Recalling all that was said
He put a bullet in his head.

All the while the people in the dark
Dreaming happily as if a lark
In the morning they did rise
Oh no, the news, a big surprise

Now is formed a ‘powerful’ commission
With of course the king’s permission
Royals may not speak of those who fell
Told all the people go to hell, oh well

The whole affair makes us shiver
All evidence swept into the river
It cannot be
We shall see
