He Fellows, Anybody in here who did undergrad from US went to Nepal and apply for Grad School and got the visa? I would appreciate any suggesions. Would it be difficult to get visa for master since you already spent about 6 years in US to finish your undergrad? Ray

i believe getting visa for graduate studies is lot easier than getting it for undergrad studies. I am a grad student here and my experience is its easy to get visa for graduate student. my friends had also similar experiences. but we did our undergrad in nepal and it took us four years. i think what matters is your status during your study in USA, if you were in status you should not have any problem getting visa.

ray, how about other options like getting a new I20 and enrolling in the college and going after that? YOu could register for summer and then withdraw and go..that could be easy ... best of luck... hami sabai lai pashupatinath le rachhya garun

Ray, it may be better if you spend a semester or two in grad school before going to Nepal. I know quite a few of friends (PhD students) who simply dropped their passports along with other necessary documents at the embassy and picked up their renewed visas after a week. There was no interview or any other process. Good luck!!
