I was told to file for an extension and as of today I have no idea why he made me do so. He seems busy to get back to my file but not to post stuff at Sajha. Would you please explain? prha Ji!

Dude,
if you didn't fill out the tax by April 15th or didn't even fill out the extension. its not a end of the world....There is lot of way to fill out the tax. You can fill out the tax up to three years back...For right now you have still 60 days to fill out the tax but you got to pay 5% late fee that is, if you're not receiving any refund.. After 60 days it will 25% plus compound intrest on whatever you need to pay the Irs.
So fill out your tax asap..
