its not already too late to start makin plans for the summer. weather youre tannin up on the shores of cancun mexico or thinkin about workin on the northeast coastal shores of maryland, summer is just right around the cornea of your eye. And if you havent looked too far to the east, and are not going back home this time around , why not spend the few months lying on the beach, gettin that deep tan that everybody already seems to have, goin for a cruiser; a road trip with your buddies, or even the fun of working and getting paid for, in summer break hotspots around the country. While havin fun isnt the hardest thing to do, finding work sure is . Nonetheless, landing that right job in your summer break could just well be as easy as gettin laid in a frat party; So if your plans to follow the girls gone wild crew have landed in the ditch, maybe its time you let the party come to you. Summer never lacks the fun and excitement that students from all over the country bring together in a determined mind to bring down the horses and let the reins of outrageous partying live on. This may be the time to think where you might want to go. If youre on the high rolling end, and have got lots of cash, this isnt for you. While, at best most students (nepalese) make a meek struggle to know how to have a good time, those that roll the dice and stash the cash, well .just do what you want. How it would please all to lose a few money slobs at the summer grind. If this isnt a tease, then summer isnt your bowl of tonic. But, by the end of this month, theres a hell of alot of good stuff to look forward to and if you havent thought of things already, too bad, eat the summer heat baby. Now, while cancun and south sea florida is all the finest that summer offers, theres possibly everything else that hasnt been marked for. It came to me and some in my frat that what would finally bring a bunch of guys and a house load of sorority divas together would be an ultimate binge of the road; a road trip from the southern coast of california to the upper shores of cool maryland, cuttin across the trip of highway 66 and eatin up miles on the interstate 40. This seemed like the ultimate way to go to imprint what we all call the dog years of our lives, and at the start of everybody's third year at college, most have had to take a step further in shifting to a higher gear to be able to let all the intriguing bordom of adulthood and academic responsibility come into play. Its also a mellow affair. While we all make the start of the journey together, we dont neccessarily end up at the same place. Most are just makin this trip back home, at different points along the way. But knowing that where we all came from, and spending our years together in southern california, its really about the temptations of goin back after summer thats going to be the real challenge for all of us. Making that drive across country is something thats been etched in my mind for years. But while i do plan on ending it there in ocean city maryland and hanging around till the end of summer, I dont really plan on driving back all the way to california. Its then likely that i would want to go through the trouble of bringing my car along 3000 miles across the continent, if even for the reason that I dont find a good reason to go back driving the car. We'll for a semester or two. Nways, what a summer this is going to be. Maryland better be ready to handle this tankload cause its set to explode. And while, the east coast is as new to me as is the midwest,or anywhere else out of range of sunny california, Im making no conclusions yet cause theres alot that i bring to the table. So, lookin to see some of you there in the east, in maryland perhaps, where hanging out wont really be about hanging on anymore. Give your shoutouts cause once youre there, youre dead straight in the middle of things, So bring your party hats, pack those martini shakers, haul a surfboard and come kick it with the locos of bayside oceancity, maryland. See ya'll there.
