CANADA... ASK FIRST CAN YOU DO ? Dear Brothers and Sisters! I want to share my experience with you. I was a fool to be a victim of guy posing as an immigrant consultant, a nepali brother from Kalimati. I didn't know, how simple it was to apply for immigration to Canada. All you need is to get an application kit from the nearest High Comminsioner's office ( New Delhi). Every minute details are given in the kit how to proceed each step . Because I was a real fool, my immigrant consultant made it appear to me as if he is sending me not with my merit but his expertise and connection with the govt. of Canada. His charge was $1800, can you imagine? I ruined all my lifetime earnings to become a janitor in a mall after failing to get any other odd jobswhile I am a foreign degree holder with more than 10 years of experience. I was forced to take up that job because I finished all my money $15000 which I brought with me . I am telling you the truth - even getting such a job is a matter of luck.CONSIDER GOING TO US IN THE FIRST PLACE. IF NOT, TRY TO COME ONLY IF YOU HAVE A JOB ALREADY IN CANADA...MOST CANADIANS WHO WORK IN US SAY "NO WAY GOING BACK TO WORK IN CANADA" ALL I WANT IS TO CAUTION MY DEAR NEPALESE BROTHERS AND SISTERS FROM THE GREEDY HANDS OF NAKKALI IMMIGRANT CONSULTANTS IN KATHMANDU. CANADA IS A COUNTRY TO LIVE ONLY AFTER YOU BECOME A MILLIONAIRE. IF YOU ARE A MILLIONAIRE IN NEPALESE CURRENCY LIKE I WAS, I BECAME A BEGGAR. IF YOU GET AN ODD JOB LIKE SECURITY GUARD, JANITOR, SANDWICH ARTIST, GAS ATTENDANT AND EVEN LABOUR JOBS IN SIX MONTHS OF YOUR ARRIVAL, I WOULD CALL YOU THE LUCKIEST GUY. 5000 FOREIGN DOCTORS HAVE WASTED THEIR LIVES IN CANADA. CAN YOU IMAGINE? THEY ARE NOT RECOGNIZED AS DOCTORS OR EVEN NURSES WHILE THEY WERE GIVEN VISA BECAUSE THEY WERE DOCTORS. THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES LIKE NEPAL, INDIA, BANGALADESH AND SO ON HAVE SUFFERED SO MUCH DUE TO SHORTAGE OF DOCTORS. HERE, THEY ARE TAXI DRIVERS, SECURITY GUARDS AND EVEN JANITORS IN THE MALL. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? WHILE CANADA IS HELPING THEM IN HEALTH SECTORS BY GIVING THEM FINANCIAL AIDS. ISN'T THAT CRAZY? THOUSANDS OF ENGINEERS ARE WORKING IN THE SAME WAY. FEW ARE LUCKY - NEGLIGIBLE. EVERY YEAR 200,000 NEW IMMIGRANTS ARRIVE HERE WITH A HOPE OF BETTER FUTURE WHILE UNEMPLOYMENT IS SO HIGH. THE POLITICIANS OF CANADA ARE FAST ASLEEP - THEY ARE KUMBHAKARNA... THEY ARE LIKE IN NEPAL... IN 2001, THERE WAS A TRANSIT STRIKE IN VANCOUVER FOR HOW LONG? GUESS? NEARLY FIVE MONTHS - THEY DON'T CARED AT ALL BECAUSE BUS AND TRAIN RIDERS ARE ONLY POOR PEOPLE...I FEEL ASHAMED TO SAY THAT. Oh, wah... waah... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh... Do you want Mr. Grasshopper to play the violin too? So you had problem finding a job in Canada. So Canada did not turn out to be the glittery image you had in your lazy ass mind. Do yourself a favor, go infront of a mirror and feel your forehead with your index finger carefully. Do you see and feel a big bold L there? Like in the US, - or for that matter, like in any responsibly governed country - Canada would like to make sure that doctors, engineers, nurses are qualified to work among its populace. If those "thousands" of immigrant professionals you say cannot find jobs in their field, I am sure there are "tens of thousands" more immigrant professionals who take their career seriously, take the pre-requisite exams and find themselves blissfully employed. I'm glad you are not in Canada anymore for you would be one unqualified, undriven, unimaginative, whiny loser. Stay in your well, plllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeaaaaaaassssse!!!!! Ugghhh!!! |
