I recently bought a card from Target (red "HOT LINK" card) paying $25.00 for 325 minutes (in US ). I hoped to talk in Nepal for a while as in the past with $25 card but after 25 minutes or so the voice tells me I got just a minute left.

Is the Target card still working or they changed the rate? Earlier the voice used to say the dollar amount in the card now it says the units. [Instead of saying I have $25 dollar on my card, it said I have 325 units].

Do fellow sajhabadis suggest some other cards to call Nepal?

Thanks.

I just used it last week and it worked fine. Please do call the customer service they can help you.

Thanks Tick ji.

I called the customer service. Even though the card was Hotline and the color was red, the card that I bought for $25 was not the same kind I used to buy in the past. The CSR says it's all in the toll free number. Even though the cards look the same, rates differ by 800 numbers. Now, I have to find the card that I used to use and buy the card with that 800 number on its back.

I wanted to share this info to other sajhabadis. That's why I am back here to take up some time, web space, electricty and energy with a hope that this information will help others save money. Please don't buy a card with this 800 number in the back "800-325-0249". A $25 card with this 800 number will only give you 27 minutes (acording to Target CSR).

Happy calling.

You are welcome, Sparsha ji.

You have a good heart.

By far Target is the best. If I find a better ones I will let everyone know.

I do not know about the card that has a different 800 number. The target card i have has 1-800-325-0443 number.
