Koirala likely to file lawsuit against CIAA
Lawyers close to the Nepali Congress are planning to file a lawsuit at the Supreme Court challenging the legality of the recent CIAA decision to summon former Prime Minister and party president Girija Prasad Koirala for interrogation into his income sources and assets, party sources said.
Koirala has decided to make the move following consultations with pro-congress lawyers. He is not for the idea of presenting himself before the CIAA, according to party sources.
Koirala along with 38 other politicians, ex-bureaucrats and police chiefs were given summons recently to present themselves before CIAA in connection with their property details.

Here is the funny part. GPK considers himself clean. While his party top leaders went to CIAA. Why can't he suggests his party colleagues to lodge lawsuits as he is trying to do?
Else, why he is crying out loud that CIAA move is a conspiracy when every person summoned by CIAA could go to the court if they think they are clean.

Why have there not been any investigations into the wealth and property amassed by individuals during thepanchayat era.......

I termed that issue as 'Boomerang Effect'.
You throw the boomerang, if it hits the target then it will never come back to you. Else, it will surely come back to hit you, now it's up to you if you are able to avoid the Boomerang landing on your neck!!!
Aren't these so called opposition parties responsible for not punishing the Pnachayat Era's corrupt people/leaders who amassed wealth and misused the power? And here these same panchayat people are once again thrashing the political party leaders who misused the power, amassed the wealth, and failed to the Nation.
