It is a way of gaining sypathy from the public before she leaves the hospital. She was probably stiched up the day she entered the hospital. Again, so much thought for the "royals". Who gives a damn about the man who lost his leg when he was hit by a truck, the children born siamese, the leper who lost his 10 fingers and toes. No one. But let a royal get stitches three weeks after being admited and we are all left in stitches.
