Jira dai, like lonely, very marmik!
recently, i managed to visit a number of nepalis and nepali families in nyc, dc and va. The crux was amazing: whether they were millionaires, illegal, GC lottery winners, workers, laborers, I DIDN"T FIND A SINGLE NEPALI HAPPY!
All share the same sentiments of going back home, but are insecure about the future. So amidst this insecurity, they are ready to die everyday in US, ready to sacrifice their culture, live in fear of rearing IRREVERSIBLE NEPRICANS, but noone has little guts to give Nepal a chance........ani budeskaal ma dukha nabhaye k huncha ta? I am not trying to dictate who should do what in their lives, but tyai ho........afno khutta ma jani jani afai le bancharo hanera, ajha paschataap garnu chai murkhata ho RE KYA AJHA LAST MA :)

Anyways, comfy bro whats there for most of the nepalese like the ones you've met in nepal? True, they may long to be back in nepal but its a different ball game once you set your foot in Nepal. I believe it is difficult for older people who immigrate to western countries, culture and all that. But, for younger generations (students/nepricans) who have been away from nepal for a period of time, it will be difficult to adjust. If still in doubt, dai & didis will give you good account.
About budeskal.. When it's my time to roost, I am heading where I can see hill's everyday. I plan to make a Betab House (Sunny Deol style) near Koshi, breed couple of horses & milk cows. (Smth about mammary glands.. don't ask)
But then again, different stroke for different folk. One shouldn't overlook individuality.
