Even though every day I shout "Jindabaad" facing North and "Murdabaad" facing East, West and South, one of my friends think I am unpatriotic because I support Indian Cricket team over Pakistani Cricket team. Please help me find a good definition of Nepalese patriotism.

Hi, I go to work wearing daura-suruwal and dhaka topi. I also have a tuppi that unquestionably reveals my Nepaliness. And I always carry a sano nepali jhanda in my pocket, which sort of peeks out.

BTW what makes you support India? Personally I would never support Pakistanis.
Not only that perhaps I would support no one except when the Nepalese are playing.

I support India because Nepalese team don't pay Test match and one day international. And I don't support Pakistan because I have a million reasons to oppose them!!!

There is obviousely something wrong with supporting any particular team/country.
As soon as you support that team... you are expecting the victory of that team even if that team plays inferior game, then you are relying on the luck while obstructing yourself from evaluating your supported team and the opponet team objectively.

I, too, support Indian Cricket Team but on different ground. If they win, 1 billion people rejoice at one time (If not in all matches, at least in the WC final). Is there anything else that can turn 1 billion people happy at one time? :)

Some of the thread are good without politicians in it! I said "I support Indian Cricket team because Nepal doesn't play Test and One day international." And other thing is if you don't support a team where is the fun of watching it.
Let me say it political way (although I don't care politics), since some of us enjoy the game of politics they either support the team of King and Lokendra or support the team of Girija and Madhav. Those who don't support either of them don't watch the political game at all. By the way, every team (once in a while) needs international support too.
May be I should put the King, Lokendra, Girija and Madhav in a big box then " beskari hallunchu" the out-come will be a perfect leader who can define Nepalese Patriotism!!
