Bhawunkaji was famous all around Mangalbazar. His grandfather 'the Lathesawu' was so happy when his only son Jujukaji gave birth to Bhawun. Being a only son, Lathesawu was somewhat worried whether or not his 20% retarded son would be able to sustain his clan. When Bhawun came in this earth, Lathesawu initiated a mass party in his baari. Bhakkar ropya dhaan nai ukhelera bhoje khwayeko thiyo Pulchoke samma ka sabbai lai dakera. "La hera Lathey, timro nati ni merrai jasto recha"..Lathesawu ko bhwuinma khutta thiyena after receieving such a compliment from Karnelkaji. Unlike his father, Bhawun was quite healthy and beautiful. "Anuwaar herda yo ta kaji khalak ma janminu parney ho"..Lathesawu lay kaakh ma rakhera pasal ma kinna awuney manchey sanga saddhai goongaan gawunthyo nati ko. As the time passed by, Bhawun became formally known as Bhawunkaji. Bhawunkaji was the most handsome bachelor in his tole which he was fully proud of. The only problem was he used to stammer quite often. "Pa..papppaa..paanya khelni aaija", Bhawunkaji lay ekkai saas ma sakkayo last ko part. "Aaja tunlai kina paanya khelni jose chalya ni", Shyamsundar lay usko haat ko kaligedi tipdai bhanyo. "ke ke Kheleeeel..ni ki nakhelni tun?", aankha chimma garera Bhawunkaji karayo. It did not take long time for Shyamsundar to realize why Bhaun was so into paanya. Just infront of that panaya akhaada, he saw Kureli washing bhandabartan. "Aajkaal nikkai nikkai cha ni, maarla ni tunlai tesko dai lay..tyo ta jandu cha ni, tha cha tunlai?..chhammwun..tir tir.." Shyamsundar warned in jubillation. "Hyannn testo kyai haina ke", Shyamsundar lay chaar aana ra 1 mohor pheri chadhayo Shyamsundar lai. Despite his occasional denial to his friend circle, Bhawunkaji was unknowingly falling in love with Rukeli which he was well aware of. He was pretty sure that Rukeli must have had enough hints about his love jestures. Rukeli khassai ramri pani thiena Bhawun herikana but god knows what allured Bhawun to be in the heart of Rukeli. However, he had not exchanged any word with her neither had any indirect communication so far. Unlike his handsome personality, Bhawunkaji belabelama bawu ko taal nikalthyo alik sanki para lay. When something went against his will, slamming the nearby doors and windows was the sign of his emotional outbreak. On top of that, when his emotions were totally out of control, tanna odhera soothyo mookh chhopera. It was already 7.00 in the morning, Bhawunkaji lay ajhhai dhoka kholena. "Kati sootchhus ye Bhawuncha", didi chai lay dhoka dhakdhakyawundai bhani. Eventhough it was locked from inside, the door seemed only half closed. Didi lay dhoka ko chira bata haat chirayera chhiskini kholi bahira bata. Whatever Didi suspected came out true. "La ma ta bhandai thi ni aja ni yo tanna odhera sutyo hola", didi was investigating what could have gone so wrong. Kina aja ali anyaro cha ni kotha?, didi was now doing the internal investigation....Bhawunkaji lay munto matrai dekhayo then he suddenly started looking towards that wall of his room which was almost connected to Ratnamaan's house. Didi was clever enough to quickly find out the reason behind the Bhawunkaji's dissapointment. Bhancha ma chya pakawuna awunda tyo sano ankhijhyaal bata Rukeli ra Bhawunkaji ko heraher hunthyo. Ratnamaan lay garho layera banda garecha tyo pani..auni woota parewa ko goond bhatkayera baari patti jhyaal nikalecha arko syano khalko. "Ye Bhawunkaji! ko cha hun yo ghar ma"...an echo disrupted her investigation. she looked down form The window. It was Kancha Karnel. "Bhawunkaji chha?", he exploded hard. Bhawunkaji juttai nalai tanna phalera kudyo bharyaang bata ghwarrrrrrra garera. Didi could not understand what prompted Bhawunkaji to respond so fast. baki arko panama....

"Kkk..kina bola kaji?"..Bhawunkaji lay ekkai saas ma sodhyo Kancha Karnel lai. "Parsi 18 gatey Bistey ko bya cha, yaso saghawuna awunchas ki bhanera", Karnel got disappeared tyati bhanera. Bistey, Kancha Karnel's only son was somewhat infatuated by Rukeli's mayajaal too. Bhawunkaji was all aware of that. They got into arguements so many times in panya khaal in the name of Rukeli. "Ki tun chaina ki ma chaina.."..Rukeli ko ghar patti herera Bistey lay Bhawunkaji lai saato linthyo belabelama. Now, he was remembering all that. "Bya cha 18 gatey aaija saghawuna"......Kancha Karnel ko awaaj Bhawunkaji ko eardrum ma pheri thookkiyo. Hun?....he imagined Rukeli ko doli going towards that big house with that evil dead Bistey. Dhoka ma ek laat jammayera kudyo Bhawunakji Karnel ko ghar tira. Didi heard the big bang. "La pheri ke bhayo yuaslai", didi was much worried than before. After she came down, Bhawunkaji was nowhere to be found. After 3/4 hours, bhaat khani belama aaipugyo Bhawunkaji didi sangai tassiney gari chulo nira. Didi was surprised to see Bhawunkaji so joyed and happy. "Didi cha ni...."..Bhawunkaji was stammering a lot. "Ke?"..,Didi asked. "Cha ni...tyo...kakkaa Kancha Karnel ko chhhhhhhora lay ta Madhesh ko keti sanga bybybya garni bhayechan...saggggggggggghayera aako". "auni kailey rey ta bya?, didi was happy for Bhawunkaji too. "aaaa..athaaar gatey rey..jajjanti jjaanu parcha hai", Bhawunkaji lay gaans halnu agadi nalibeli layo ra bhaat pani thapera khayo tyo deen. Mangalbazzar ma pheri ekpalta halla chalyo Rukeli ko bya ko. Bhawunkaji was not that far in the list to hear that rumor. I do not know what made him so couragious that time, he went straight to Ratnamaan's house. He saw Rukeli doing her daily chores but he was encountered by Ratnamaan before he could make some jesture to Rukeli. Rukeli pretended as if she did not see him. "Ke bhanna aaies ye Bhauwn?", Ratnamaan lay hakareko swore ma bolyo. "Ma Rukeli lai maaaaaaa haa maagna ako, ke cha timro bbibibichaar?", He uttered without thinking anythingelse. "Tun jasta bhakbhakey lai chori dinu bhanda ta..Khwa***.....", Rukeli's brother exploded in no time. Bhakbhakey ra Kwa*** ekkai choti bajriyo Bhawunkaji ko kaan ma. It sounded like the thunder came from nowhere. The anger of revenge was about to errupt any time. But for the first time, he controlled his anger. Phanakka pharkyo Bhawunkaji tya bata. Ghar ayera ek laat hanyo aphnai dhoka ma. "Ye Bhawun..tun ka gai ra?", didi caught him in the stair. "Kina?", Bhawunkaji yelled without stammering. "Tunali keti dina aachan Bhaktapoor bata", didi made it clear. And without any thinking, he said, "Huncha". "Ek palta keti ta hernu bholi Nyatapole gayera", didi was trying to be reasonable. "Pardaina"...pheri arko laat jamayo dhoka ma Bhawunkaji lay. Since that day, Bhawunkaji was neither happy nor sad. The day finally came. After finishing his ceremony, he was returning to Mangalbazar from Bhaktapur. As he was about to enter Patandhoka, he told his Chhatey to make U-turn and take the long route via Ratnamaan's house. Jodiyekkai bhayepani Ratnamaan ko ghar arkai bato bata janu parthyo. As the baggi approached near Ratnamaan's house, he saw Ratnamaan smoking hukka in Bardali. He told his driver to slow down. Chhata ko jhoomka mathi woothayo. "Mathi her..mathi her", he told his bride. "Ka herni?", she was unsure of where he was pointing towards. "woo tya ..tya....he was still pointing towards Ratnamaan's hukka.
