Kuwaitis issue life threats to Nepali woman Post Report KATHMANDU, May 29 Two Kuwaiti nationals have threatened to kill a Nepali woman who has been working for five months in Kuwait as their housemaid. The Kuwaitis, Ahmad Hussain and Muhammad Khalab, threatened Iswari Karki, a resident of Chobhar, Kathmandu with her life after having employed her as housemaid. In a telephonic threat received by Karkis husband Mansoor Ansari today, the Kuwaitis were reported to have asked him to pay Rs 40,000 (Indian currency) or be prepared to receive her dead body in Kathmandu. Karki was recruited five months ago through Nahal Myutairi, a manpower company based in Kuwait. Ansari has also sold off his motorcycle and a restaurant in Baneshwor simply in pursuit of his wife but nothing has materialised yet. His wifes whereabouts remain still unknown. He also sent a letter to the Nepali Embassy in Kuwait but the latter could not give any details of his wife. Ansari has spent Rs 60,000 till date on telephone, trying to contact his wife in Kuwait.
