Hi Guys,
I had a question 4 you. Plz. help me.
If someone was planning to take part in an event...where there would be other particiapnts representing themselves and their country...What colour sari do u think this individual should wear? A colour that represents her as an individual or a colour that represents her country? Why & Why not? All suggestions will be appreciated.
Red or Blue (like in our flag). Between these colours chose one plz and help a confused soul. Will appreicate it.

Man tuff decision between red and blue! well then maybe u should pick one that has both u kno wat i mean, like red sari with blue designs or stitchings or blue sari with red designs or stitchings, Hopefully that doesn't look tacky!
If u just want one color than go for red....i mean blue....umm no use red....oh i dunno! i think wat i said above would be a better suggestion!

Just Kiddin of course our good ol Red and Blue.......but not too bright in color Uknow what I mean........Dammn, haven't seen anyone in Sari for 7 yrs

Country nai represent garna chha bhane kina saari ni? khurukka chowbandhi cholo ra fariya nalaayera? eheheh...color-solor ko pir ni linu pardaina...eutai color(s) ta hunchha ni...dhaaka ko cholo, raato/kaalo fariya...laachhi ni baandhnu...make up-sake up nagarnu...gaagri boknu...khaali khutta janu...ani geet gaunu:

Suna khari maya lai bolaun ke gari...
Saarinai laune bhaye raato lau, raato...kina-sina nasodha...thaha chhaina :(

What would you wear if it was you? :-) I was thinking 'bout the kind u wrote also...but then just wanted to go with a plain (I mean one w/ no butta nothing, just plain). Suppose, if red sari than blue blouse, if blue sari than red blouse (Like in our flag). Now I'm confused :-). Maybe I'm just making a mountain out of a mole hill. Hm...Thank you sis :-).

Sari would be the most convinent thing at the moment. Hm...Gagri kaha bata lyaune? Natra gagri/doko bokera hidne rahar ta thiyo...least audience would have been exposed to it. Hm...Gagri bokera hidne hm.....that's a good idea.

I would suggest ya to wear RED one....cause' it represents our janginishan ..hehhe...but still..i will go for poonte ji cause' it would be better if u really want to represent Nepal then wear chaubandi cholo and fariya...Since Indians do wear Sari too so to be typical Nepali, i would rather prefer chaubandi and fariya with patuka and sirbandii

Definitely BLUE!
Electric blue, shocking blue but definitely blue.....you can't go wrong!
Red can come across as too strong or too bold.
But here is a question: What kind of skin do you have: winter, summer, autumn or spring? Most Nepalese have winter skin which means primary and bright colors look good on you.
However, if you have a pale/pastel or sky blue saree, wear the red!

and i think you lay heavy emphasis on "where there would be other particiapnts representing themselves and their country"
i definitely suggest you wear nepali jhandako Cholo and nepali jhandako nai pachayauri too...that way you will cover all the bases of being bewitchingly colorfull
ahaaaa... unique ma unique..chwaaaak ma chwaaak...don't forget to post a pic hai with that outfit on..angle angle ma khicheko kya..kahiley haseko ..kahile serious..kahile kamr bhacheko kahile stopping over something kya..hai ta...la..good luck..

I think I have a winter colour but am not verry sure :-). Coz honestly my slow head didnot get the colours u were talking 'bout. The blue one that I have does goes w/ my skin. I was just thinking Blue stands for peacefulness.....Perhaps represents me as a person. Than I could put on a red blouse. My reasoning was : If I wear a blue sari...it will be more of me as a person...Eventhough my country's colour will be there also. If I wear red sari, it will be more of my country, eventhough me as an individual will be represented also. I thought if I wear red sari, it would be like I am more of a nepali than as an individual...and if I wear blue ...I am more of me as a peson and a human than just a nepali. Uhm...so. I would agree with you, red comes out as a verry strong colour. Am I making sesne sis? :-) Or is it all nonsense :-) ? Actually do ppl. even care? :=D!

I think actually that suga colour will look good on you Pp than on me. :=D! w/ a suga colour hat made of suga colour feathers, suga colour goggs, suga colour shoes, suga colour ring, suga colour stick, suga colour teeth..etc etc! : =D how 'bout that? :=D!
Actually if that colour is coordinated and worn in a right way by a right person in a right situation...you'll be surprised, how unique & fashionable it will look! So! don't make fun of suga colour :=D!

Well, I don't know if it represents anything, but if you have little bit fair skin [:=) here], then I think Royal blue goes better ni... ehh!! MY Opinion. Ajha put on rato chura or something... ehh.. it will represent Nepal ko jhanda. ;=) hehe.

Thinking about Neali jhanda ko lugaa...they have kattus with American flag ni...testai Nepali flag ko kattu kasto hola? Euta gala ma chandra, arko gala ma surya...red all over...ani elaastik ra linings chai blue...hmmm...bizniz shuru garna paryo ki ke ho yo saano jyan le? Yespali ko ANA convention ma sable launai parne niyam banaaidim na! Come to think of it, similar kind of bra pani banauna milchha hau :O)
