MATLAB? I have a question that I haven't been able to find answer to!

Can you share your poblem? Though I use MATLAB, I have only elementary knowledge of it, and can not ensure that I can solve your problem. But I am interested to share it.

Hello everyone!
thanks for responsding. I just figured out what the problem(and the answer to it ) was.

If you are still interested, here's what had happened:

I downloaded a software called ADVISOR that runs on the MATLab/Simulink Environment. When I tried to run it, it kept giving me error saying there's logic (data type) mismatch in the simulink blocks. I tried debugging and even using a data converter in the blocks but it wouldn't work. After an extensive web-searching, to my relief, I found out that a patch (an m-file) for my version of matlab(version 13) was needed in order to simulate ADVISOR in MATLab version 13. I downloaded the patch and ran it in MATLab and the simulation finally worked!

I know it was really something small that I was missing for the amount of time I spent troubleshooting. If they had provided a note on any of their help sections about this extra-download, I wouldn't have to lose so much time on just getting this stupid thing to work!

Lonely,

Just wondering in what context you used MatLab for your MBA finance?
