SAN ji; Please assist me. I refuse to interact directly with Bhedo ji as he has verbally abused me using foul and vile language. He has gotten very abusive in Kurakani using the Kurakani platform to obsess about Sitara-my cyber persona. He has also started harassing me in Chat. I am asking you to intervene on my behalf to abort any further vicious attacks on me. Does anyone know the FBI laws on cyber stalking, cyber hate crimes/ harrassment? I know the FBI laws on interstate phone call harrassments...it is pretty severe. I would appreciate your help and hope that Sajha and Kurakani will be a safe place for any female to visit. |

Without reading the whole proceedings : change of words between two chatters, its very difficult to realize who crossed the border. Both are capable of selecting best to worst words to make happy or disappoint their opponents, so its very difficult to decide who is victim without going through complete proceedings. I suggest both to keep the record of words they exchanged in Chatroom. I wonder whether San can stop or reject neither Bhedo nor Sitara just because one of them claims of harassing. San needs proofs. Misuse of others name is not new in Sajha.com, and I have witnessed how others name were extremely misused and harassed in this forum. All rite...Enough is ENough!!!!!!!!! It is of utmost importance that we keep the SAJHA environment healthy. All of us has to play our individual roles. Cybercrime has its own regulations and of course also the limitations within the same regulations. The virtual world (internet +) has its own cis and cons. It is a good way of getting to know ppl through the internet but at the meantime it cannot be avoided that someone offends someone. It is a very difficult task to identify the culprit. But yes we can keep Our Sajha clean if we all realize and act accordingly upon (self)realization that SAJHA is AN wonderful community where all of us Nep-folks can come and share our feelings and all gain the Reward of feeling togetherness. Especially to those who are away from Nepal, it provides us with the sense of being at home. SOooo folks let's not convert Sajha into some sort of battleground. IF we try not to offend anyone by any means then that might help a lot. SOmetimes asking for an apology, saying simply sorry, juzz ignoring/blocking the annoying party (if necessary),or simply forgiving can help solve one's case. So folks!! letz all of us try to understand the importance of oUR nepali community. Offending anyone by any means is not a good thing at all. That juzz makes other ppl realize what sort of person ONE is. Again like most of us agreee!!! ITz juzz chat. I guess we all have the ability to IGNore certain things and appreciate few. Friends, please cool down and look at the matter with a cool mind. No one is perfect. Even the GODs have variations. We couldn't just agree on one. So, disagreement is natural phenomenon. A self evaluation on who crossed the line will certainly help in diffusing the situation. Offense is offense whether it comes in the Internet or in person. Of course, we shouldn't downplay the importance of self and mutual respect. But if things can be sorted out in easy way then why look for complicated path? Let the anger subside then decide who is who here and who (if any) needs to apologize. |

dear all, as a member of this community for almost 3 years now, I have seen these sort of things come and go. Let's not forget one thing: Once you post something in here, you are inviting all sorts of comments. Some are nice, some are not so nice and some are really bad, and that's the first rule of this web-discussion game. So, the posters ought to understand that they shouldn't take the remarks here seriously. Now, getting to the Sitara-Bhedo squabble: Both have contributed to the community's knowledge by actively participating in this board. I enjoy Bhedo's take on the world events, as much I enjoy Sitara's pieces and witty remarks. Remember: DIversity is one major attraction of this board. There are always disagreements but there arew ays to resolve those disagreements without getting personal. However, if the context and other things make it imparative to resolve the disagrrements at a more personal level, then, as San wrote in anotehr thread, one can always rely on other forms of communincation sucha s email and phone calls. I don't think this blame-game should continue in Sajha. Of course, the use of profanity and resorting to making personal comments should be condemned, but before that, one has to make sure that we are being fair to both parties. Disagreements should not result in personal hatred and personal attacks. So, as a member of this community, I wil say what I have always been saying: let's enjoy the diversity of Sajha. Let's enjoy Sitara's eloquently written pieces, and benifit from Bhedo's knowledge. Let's learn to be more reecptive and more tolearant of the views that we don't necessarily agree to. Let's not make this a battle ground to prove who is good at verbal warfare, instead use this board to make friends. Again, Sitara and Bhedo, I remain you guys' fan. You both are young, educated and brilliant and I know you both can resolve this in a more healthy manner and outisde of this board. If I am not mistaken, you botha re in the same city, why not resolve all differences at a nice restaurant or a cafe?
