Love is very strange. Love is unconditional commitment to an imperfect individual. You need it but when you love, it's like destining yourself for pain. You become addicted and dependent on the person. You become strong and at the same time, you open yourself up to being hurt. Love can make you bear any kind of pain and any kind of sacrifice. It can also make you feel stupid and act stupidly. Sometimes when you love and end up giving so much of yourself, subconciously you only discover how much you've given when the person you love hurts you or has to say goodbye.
Then you realize, an important part of yourself is already with that person. It goes away when s/he leaves and you are left with a sickening, empty feeling inside.
Tears are bound to shed from your eyes no matter how you force yourself to keep them in. Most teardrops ever shed on this earth have been for love or lack of it. When tears dry, a silent loss sticks to your heart for a long, long time.
Well, that's what you get for caring so much about someone. But how can you regret it? To give yourself freely and lovingly is the most beautiful thing you can do. Loving makes you real. Loving also makes you cry. And that is why a teardrop is also BEAUTIFUL.

Story Of Two Teardrops
Two teardrops were floating down the river of life. One was the teardrop of a gurL who had loved and lost. The other teardrop was of a boy who had neither loved nor lost.
One day, as they were floating down the river of life, they meet with each other. Teardrop of a boy approaches the teardrop of a gurL and introduces himself. In the mean time they become friends...good friends.
Everyday when the sun would be out and the other teardrops in their neighbourhood would be involved in discussing about the world events, poets, writers, ghazals and other intellectual matters, they would float down to the garden where they had first met. They would talk with each other about mundane happenings in life...something that would appear absurd to other teardrops. But it did not mattered to them because they were just happy to be friends.
Everything was going fine or at-least they pretended. They would talk on ends laughing and playing around like children. But they never shared with each other the world they belonged to. They never shared with each other their hurts, pains or any of their dark secrets. All they shared was laughter and smiles.
One day, a storm that was far more fierce than the one at the red sea sweeps through the river of life and divides it into two. Amid all the chaos and confusion, the friends get separated. One gets directed to the right course of the river while the other gets directed to the left course. Thus the innocent world once they shared comes to an end.
Both of them were now floating down through two entirely different rivers of life. They were sad to lose the friendship that belonged to them once. They were sad that their world was not going to be the same anymore. But they decided not to let their misfortune ruin the life they were going to experience. Because, during their friendship they had learned life was too precious and beautiful to be wasted worrying about what could not happen. They had learned if one day, they were to part their ways; they would cherish and be thankful that they could at least be friends once during their lifetime.
Thus, they flow down into their different rivers of life. Along the way, they make new friends and continue to float and drift during the high and low points in their life, sometimes happy...other times sad.
Finally they reach their destination, the ocean. It was huge, something they would have never experienced along the way. In the ocean, waves toss and turn them around. Amidst the tossing and turning of the waves, teardrop of a gurl who had loved and lost gets weak...very weak. She gets so weak that she gets bound to her bed, unable to float around. All day long, she would lie down on her bed staring at the ceiling. During one of these difficult final moments, she decides to review the chapters of her life-story. She starts by going through all the beautiful things that had happened. One of the beautiful thoughts that cross her mind is about her friend she had lost in the storm. Smile spreads across her face as she thinks about the times they had spent playing around in the garden. But soon tears fill up her eyes. She stares up on the ceiling as she tries to control them. No, she thinks&I can not cry over something that was beautiful and heroic&something that was spent in smiles and laughter. So, she toasts her precious moments with a genuine smile. As she smiles, her eyes close&and thus her journey down the river of life ends.
