I have been using Kroger's MCI calling card for about 7-8 months. It is giving me 105 minutes for 20 dollars. The same card was on sale last time for 15 dollars, I recharged for 20% discount. Thus got 105 minutes for 12 dollars. |

Kewl, Kroget card is probably the best now. But be careful, as this is also from MCI the provider of Target card and they may increase the price any time. Next in the option would be Himtel but I don't recommend you to use reliable or callontime . But there is also a card in call977.com, try that as well. Hope it helps. |

Kroger/MCI cards are probably the best bet right now because they are 1 min rounding and have no hidden fees. However, the rate, like in the Target/MCI card, is a mistake, and will most likely shoot up. Don't recharge too much at a time or buy too many cards from the store for future use. These cards are non refundable and will be useless if the rates increase to $2 per min. Regarding online phonecard resellers, don't be fooled by advertized low rates. Verify the rate for Nepal by calling the customer service before buying the card as rates frequently change. And since most of the online card sellers are just resellers they won't know immediately if the rates do change for a particular company -- unless a customer informs them. If any card advertizes more than 30 mins for $10 the card most likely will have 3, 5 or 6 mins rounding and maintenance fees. Which means you will have to use up the card in one call to get the advertized number of mins. If you do find cheap cards, buy just before you intend to use them. Don't hold on to cards. Read the card details before buying the card. To learn more about calling card fees and tips, read the following: - http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=10855 Thanks. yb, as Hemendra ji pointed out, don't buy too much ata time, you never know when they will increase the price like Target> After all it is also a MCI card. Kewl, anyway wish you all the best for a good card search. |
