PLAYBACK THEATRE INTRODUCTION ON SCENE Member of IPTN Pipalboat Playback theatre kathmandu, Play back theatre is original form of improvisational theatre in which audience member tell stories form their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. Play back theatre was founded in 1975; playback theatre is practiced in hundreds of locations on six continents. Getting a strong start in playback theatre means taking enough time to immerse yourself in the rich atmosphere and dynamics of the playback experience. Playback forms will be taught scenes, fluid sculpture, pairs, tableau, stories, and more, each students will have chance to try the roles of conductor and musician as well as actor. and of course every one will tell and enact stories together in the sprit of fun and fellowship. AAKHYAN'S New born playback theatre company name is PipalBoat Playback theatre company(Born in America "nowran " in Nepal,opening ceromony in July).PipalBoat(Pipal Tree)under the pipal tree people take a rest and tell their sukha dhuka(happy /sorrow)katha betha(stories)each other.Pipal boat is very popular and religious tree in Nepal. Under the Pipal boat lord Buddha got the knowledge. In July I am going to organize 3 different introductory playback workshops in Kathmandu.One is with my theatre friends.
