Has anyone seen HULK yet? I have. My expectations: Like all the super-heros movies, I thought, this movie is also full of digitally created action sequences (There must be atleast one "dhamaka" sequence every 15 to 30 mins in an action movie. Hey that's from the ActionMovies 101). Insted of that the movie is full of emotional moments, love story and great performances. Especially by Nick Nolte. I hope he won't be forgotten when it comes to nominating for awards. Eric Bana (Hulk) is good, Jennifer Connelly looks sensational (oooh baby!), and Sam Elliot (He was awesome in "contender") is simply great. And hey, Hulk looks better than it did in teaser. They must have re-worked on it. Or something. By the end of the movie, he is more like mayalaagdo monster.. Hulk is better than overhyped summer movies... surprisingly one of the better super hero movies. Worth a watch! |

Okay, I will have to strongly disagree with kalankisthan on this one. Just got back from the movie..and guess what I thought about it : A complete loss of money. If you have high expections from the movie, I would not recommened you go watch it. There is nothing new in the movie except multi screen shots which I found kindda cool. Like a typical hindi movie...! |

Hmmm Yadav. So, you always want new thing in the movie? How many of the movies provide us with new things, either new subjet or new treatment? It surprised me becaues it didn't fall on the category of blockbuster summer flick, whose only intention is to collect as much money as it could in its first week. (Tell you what? I think "charlies angels" will fall on the category I am talking about. I am sure that movie will open with a great action sequence and there will be one action scene every 15 minutes. Like James Bond movies). I don't think it would make as much money as it could have made if they made it like real action movie. That multiple screen shots were cool. Nicely executed. And that last action sequence was worth my 6 bucks. eh. Enjoyed your view though. |

Hulk sucked!!! I was expecting too much perhaps because of Ang Lee. His other movies - Crouching Tiger, Sense & Sensibilities - were so awesome. What happened this time? Apparently Hulk cost $100M+. I am not sure if it will be able to recoup that cost 'cuz the word of mouth spreads pretty fast and people will save their ten bucks for T3 instead. Did I mention? Hulk sucked! |

Boke, hmmmm!! But why did it suck? Reason ni deu na yaar, I am in the mood ke.. Feri ek round herna jaanu cha!!! (The recent movie that really sucked was "Dumb and Dumberer". Probably I watched Hulk right after Dumb and Dumberer so I enjoyed it immensely. The super-hero movie that really sucked was "Dare Devil", but I loved the soundtrack.) Okay, I will say it again "DON'T WATCH DUMB AND DUMBERER, IT'S NO WHERE CLOSE TO DUMB AND DUMBer. But hey HULK was great... the main reason, the emotional track of the movie was well executed, and the performance was great. Did lack of action make you think HULK sucked? Wondering kyaa, Kaam napaako manche ma!! |

Just came from watching the movie, and I must say it was a disappointment because only the opening was about 45 minutes long, till he turns into Hulk, that is. I was feeling so sleepy by then. After that the real action starts, but Hulk's CG really was disheartening is he looked so fake that it almost felt like he was animated. I also didn't like the actor playing the protagonist of the movie since I somehow felt that he wasn't really acting, but only talking in a monotonous tone. After watching the movie, and while I was departing, I also heard other people talk about it, and to tell you the truth, they too thought the movie sucked. Jennifer Connely is hot, no doubt about it. She's also a good actor, and this also goes to Nick Nolte, and I guess these two stole the show. Hulk was just another goofy computer graphics that looked wrong everywhere! The plot was not that bad I must say, but if there had been some real acting by the main actor, I would most probably have liked the movie. This wasn't the case and no, I didn't like the movie. 3 stars if rated out of 5 by me. |

hehe!! Ajhai baaji thokne? I'd say it will pass cooool $150million before it is released on DVD/VHS. (DVD/VHS has bigger market than North American Boxoffice.) The main problem with the movie is people think it is targeted to under 25 (generally speaking). However it doesn't have any humorous moment and continious action that'd lure the audience from that age. So I think it should make money in the coming weeks when those people who read the review and watch the movie, go to the theater. ehh.. just a guess.. !! (The movie got good reviews). Ma ta feri herna janchu, eh... aru movie chaina, tyahi euta ho... feri heri dinchu.. detail ma!! ;) |

OK OK finally i thought i shud speak something about this movie. first this movie is not for people who want reality in the movie. if u want reality why dont u watch reality TV. second this is a comic strip, how else wud you want it to be presented. don't tell me that you didn't know about the movie before you went in into the theatre. i watched the movie very first day it opened and i was kind of happy with it. the graphics were cool. the multiple screen shots looked so great. finally give the man some credit. it was indeed a tough job to make a comic character into a movie. better potrayed than spiderman. Kudos to Ang lee :) |

Hey there ya alll!! Yah I went last night to see "hulk" and it was excellent movie. I had to cry a looooooooooooot ni when I saw that movie. It's very sentimental especially about the guy who turns angry and become this big giant Hul(the green guy). I also feeel soo sorry for him ni. And how he struggle to free himself from all the other cops and bad guys. Oo yah that movie made me cry alooooooooooooot ni..I love Hulk. he is not only strong and big, he plays very pitiful, romance, and the best performance..That actor looks new to me. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder if he has played in any other movie. And the actress is good too. Of course she was awarded the most best actress in "The beautiful mind". Hmmm.Well..I recommend to anyone that movie. It's GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) Bye!!!! |

To use the fact that Hulk is a comic book figure as a crutch or pretext for developing dismal special effects won't do because let's face it, movies like Spiderman or The Matrix indeed appeared to be better than Hulk, not just animation-wise, but also story-wise. Ang-Lee MURDERED the comic-book Hulk in the sense that the Hulk animation was flimsy at best, and Ang Lee spent 45 minutes for ONLY the opening. He should have assumed that people are familiar with the Hulk story and cut to the chase, because that way at least we would still have been awake when real action started. Plus what's up with the actor playing the protagonist? He wasn't very believable as an actor was he? |

dayummmmmm Knt! Let bicharo Ang Lee go dude!! Insted of 'assuming' people know about Hulk's story, he made the movie thinkin' people are ignorant about Hulk. He was clear about what he was doing. If you have read his interviews or anyone who belonged to the making of HULK, they knew exactly that people expect bunch of car smashing, ground breakin' action sequence in a super hero movie. In spite of that, they stuck to the first Hulk comic from the page 1. Anyway, 10 days after HULK: people appreciated Ang Lee's work, so did critics, Hulk is considered one of the better Super hero movies, the computer animation has been appriciated so far. Ang Lee has also been praised for that split screen effect. where most of the people failed in using split screen, his was a triumph. It gave the comic book effect. The camera angles are very much based on the comic book rather than the school of movie making, which is very hard for people to accept, especially those who are familiar with technical aspect of the movie making. Hulk was appreciated for that. Technically awesome (cgi effect is not the only technical aspect in the movie makin'). About the actor, Eric Bana looked like human than Lou Ferringo (The popular Hulk in TV). Remember Lou Ferringo? He already looks like monster! Try to fit him in the description of scientist, who is petrified of showing love and emotion. Eric Bana did a great job. Anyway, enuff with HULK, has anyone catched "CHARLIES ANGEL: the full throttle" yet?? To me, the movie sucked! only best part of the movie, bikini-clad Demi Moore and Cameron Diaz on the same frame. Gawwwwd, I was tryin' to focus on both. ehh.. ahem... nothing! |

Hulk is disappointing. There is so much effort put forth in making the movie but very little effort in making the story. |
