Of the 40 leaders summoned jointly on May 15, the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has frozen bank accounts and belongings of NC leader Girija Prasad Koirala and other seven, CIAA officials said Friday.
They said the CIAA move is for not to lose any evidence that can verify corruption.
Koirala and the seven were defying CIAA summons to present themselves at the latters office for interrogation. They challenged the summons by filing a petition at the Supreme Court.
The CIAA, referring to a report prepared by Judicial Investigation Commission on Property, said it needed to investigate properties of the 40 leaders to confirm valid source of their earnings. nepalnews.com mr June 21

Good to see that CIAA is actually above the dirty politics in Nepal. But i think how this is going to end. He'll be fined (or will bail himself out with) an amount that will sound huge but will actually be a small fraction of what he owns.

Regarding GPK,
pap kaha bata karaucha dhuri bata bhane ko ehi ho. At the dawn of democracy we nepali people trusted so much on this guy but he ditched us, so now its his turn to pay back.
