La, Samana jyu...tyo Tukucha ko pani nasukne bho...khayeko kassam pura gardiyen! dhilai bhayeni...baini laai diyeko kassam ta pura gari haalen! :) First of all, I was totally taken aback when I read that the legal age for sexual activities in Kansas is 16! I though 18 was the standard all over the US! Poonte ko saano magaj le naya kura thaha paayen! Secondly, I am strongly against requiring doctors to report underage pregnancies to the authorities. If we require doctors and abortion providers to report such cases to the authorities, then I fear many underage pregnant girls would simply avoid going to the health professionals, putting them at more risk of having serious pregnancy problems, which, in some cases, can lead to the death of either the mother, or the child, or both. The risk of pregnant girls avoiding going to hospitals is far greater than the risk of them being abused. Yes, abuse is wrong on it's own respect, and the society should find other mechanisms to confront this issue; however, once a girl is pregnant, either by will or by abuse, I think she deserves a professional health care like any other adult pregnant woman. Doctors are there to provide health care, not to police.

dai..i agree with you regarding the underage pregnancies cases..but what if the girl is a victim of sexual overtures turned into sexual exploitation. yea..i do understand, it might impact young women's psyche in revealing the truth while visiting doctors . But there are many cases where they have to hide the actual happening under different circumstances being sexually abused and it might include indecent exposure, peeping, obsence phone calls...sometimes, warning!!! thts how it triggers their mentality.....and later on it hampers their psychology for a long time.

Samana jyu! Dherai pachhi palnu bho! Malaai ta katai tyo bhustighre Korean le nilna ta nilena bhanera pir pari raa thyo ;) Galhatti laayera huttyauna napuge ko teskimaa bajjiyaa laai! eheheh Hajur, I am not trying to undermine the problems that many underage girls (and even women) face with harrassments, be them physical, sexual, verbal, or otherwise. I just think the law enforcement should come up with other alternatives to tackle the problem than requiring medical professionals to do the job. Let the physicians provide professional health care to ANYONE who needs it, regardless of how they might have conceived pregnancy, without the fear of being prosecuted themselves, or their perpetrators. Some criminals might even threaten them and prevent them from seeking medical help if doctors were to act as policemen too.
