What would be the implication if Nepal is declared a 'failed state'? Is the country a take over candidate or is it managed by UN or any other country!! I am dumb in international politics. We can brainstorm here as a concerned citizen....

Instead of Kantipuronline.com, I would recommend everyone to visit Dishanirdesh at nepalnews.com. It takes time to download the interview of Taranath Ranabhat, but is worth watching. This was one of the very few impressive interview by a Nepali politician who had no self interests of anykind and had a very clear picture of the current situation in Nepal and the reasons for so much troubles and ways to overcome through this difficult phase each Nepali has been facing.

I just sat through the 30 minutes of the said Dishanirdesh program. Here's my feedback:

I liked the host's laid back approach while asking point-blank questions. However, Taranath Ranabhat's talk almost made me puke. He said nothing substantial, nothing new, nothing constructive. All his comments were very general, bullshit disguised with sahityit words. He kept saying the three forces - King, Maoists and Parties - need to come together and solve the problem. Ahhhhh... even a bhusiya kukkur in dillibazar knows that. But despite many proddings from the host, Ranabhat could not go deeper than that.
