Thank you kali p (I assume you are NOT the economist Kali Prasad from the American South) for your most interesting theory.

I don't mind being publicly psychoanalyzed by you or by
others on a Web site no less!! Thank you.

On another note, writing PUBLICLY with one's own brilliant or stupid ideas/opinions and in one's own name is always a RISKY thing -- whether you write formally for a newspaper or
informally for a Web site.

I, for one, fully ACCEPT all the associated risks and make
no excuses/apologies for the risks and seek no protections
from the Web master or others . . . WHILE keeping in mind that there is much I do NOT know and it's ONLY through interactions with others -- on the Web, in persons or by working/talking together -- that more learning can take place.

Sure, some of these interactions can at times appear to
be heated and conflict-ridden, but then, who says
learning has to be always easy, nice and harmonious?
Sometimes, conflicts are necessary for our
emotional/intellectual and even social growth.
(So all these attacks are good for our eventual
collective growth.)

And so, when one sets out to so a risky thing such as posting/writing one's thoughts and opinions on a regular basis -- purely for enthusiasm/enjoyment and NOT for money, in this
case -- then one attracts people who'll like you and appreciate you even when they don't agree with you, and there will be
people who'll hate you with all their reptilian anger.

The challenge is to be true to yourself when people are for you
and against you. The inner peace that comes being true
to yourself makes you calm and productive.

Ans so, I respect ALL my readers enough to know that ALL are
FREE to not like and not read any of my or anyone else's postings. They are welcome to think of me or any other poster
in this or that way.

Why, I will even fight for the readers to have that choice for themselves.

Finally, to Namita, thank you for your suggestion, and don't
worry: I do consider you a friend despite our occasional
differences of opinion.

Time-permitting, guys, let's keep the discussions flowing.
