I swallow hard--
As heart pounds with desire,
a delusion in scorching summer heat.
Curtains shed, Empty chairs
Void thoughts drifting.
A reeling fan-my sole companion
Together we watch green leaves sparkle.
I swallow hard--
Plunging into darkness.
With semi stretched lips,
radiating a sensual smile-
Smeared with compassion.
With contours of passion and naivety
Pushing the feminine mole afar,
hiding it in those smooth creeks
of her sublime cheek.
Eye lashes flutter,
beyond those white frames,
pupils gleam beyond rationale.
I swim in those depths of infinity,
paralyzed at the unprovoked beauty.
Thumping of my fragile heart,
about to explode,
In anticipation of words of whisper,
ready to be bestowed.
I swallow hard--
as she fades into the evening lamp,
A moribund silence surrounds
Tears don't stain me,
Smiles don't crackle,
Feelings sway to and fro,
Images flash time and again.
I remain stoic--unruffled and static,
Waiting for her to return.
I swallow hard--
Lost for words.

Ki tyo ghar pachadi ko aaru baari lai samjhera lekhya hehe... aru ko bot lai -- angaalo haldai. ... aaah!! Okay I failed to hide the belief that you were actually writing about 880. Ho hagi? hoina? grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... kit kit...
Hoina bhane Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanch bro aru ni jaawosh .. .hehe.. .

NICE. You might think that you did not find the right words. Turned out just fine. Half-full is always more plesant then half-empty.

Through this summer day I'm lost for words, to find the veracity of your delusion. Where should I start from and where should I end to describe the beauty of your poetry? My vocabulary has been empted coz I still am tired of ANA....
ANyways, excellent job.. nice shift from memory lane to poetries...:-)

harey najar. compliment ko pani had hunch ni. His memory lanes are far more superior than this attempt at poem if you ask me. wait a minute, you have not asked me. oh well...:)
OYs bhai, for somebody who "lost his words", you said quite a bit there.

just a futile attempt, aint as great as some of yours :) ..believe me have been readin' em, but poems are hard for me to comprehend, even harder to interpret......dunno what's wonderful or not........jus the spur of the moment kinda thing u know

but as NK jyu says, this is indeed trivial compared to memory lanes. like i said nk jyu, its one fuitile attempt......a rush of feelings.....yet emptiness re kya! eheh...never been big poem fan. Yes i used to write them a lot in nepali back in the days, when the newspaper decided it was not my original work.....wow.....wish i had that same nepali now. anyways, thanx for yor candid evaluation. As for lost for words, You have to be me to understand re kya ajha:P

ps--i remain an admirer of your poems despite my poorest knowledge in comprehending the poetic elements!
