What Can I Say? --- The life of love and the truimph of a good heart. What can I say? When the night quietly remains, The moon's grace is somehow lost; Shy eye lashes fluttering in the dark, And I watch the stars melt in your eyes. Then again...What can I say? What are these falling tears, Down nature's surest bloom, Unmasked and unsure. Can I Say? But so true is this heart of mine, that uptil now sorrow never dared; O' Little goose, Take no more flights, I remain not youth's lithely moves, and lose the chase, Maybe forever, forever ... Perhaps, I should say, So uncalled for these pearls that you left in my hands, What makes these silver lines down your heavenly curves, such nector that only celestial beings do drink; That being so much of you in every passerby's smile, And you just cannot bear to see shooting stars Shaped to your eyes and be reduced to ashes On your trembling lips. Or maybe, this lovely evening glowing tranquil besides us, Your thoughts in my bosom, gentle warmth of innocence and trust; Shall I stop the universe and softly say - Sleep, my beautiful one, lie in peace. Such faith that you choose to fall your grace in me - I shall not hinder that faith. Draw close to me your humbleness, trust in me, I shall count the stars tonight and wake you when I am done.
