DEATH METAL BEST: Death, Slayer, Testament, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, Prong, Voivod, Unleased, Therion, Sinister , Dismember, Obituary, Type O Negative... I can go on and on and on Is there any Metal bands that are bad???? Dont' think so |

Spinal Tap wasn't a real band, it was band constructed for the movie. But I think they did try to do something after the movie, but it was all in fun and games. I hate a lot of the mainstream bands: Linkin Park Limp Bizkit Evanescence Good Charlotte Sum 41 Is Tool and Nine Inch Nails considered Nu Metal? 'Coz I like those two. What about Opeth? I know they're metal, and they seem to have a strong following. |

mussolini, TOOL and NIN are COOL. They are considered "Industrial Metal". If you like TOOL and NIN I am sure you would love MINISTRY. I believe Opeth is a Death Metal. yOuNgBlOoDz - your alias says it all...that's for young ppl like you ..Linking Park and Limp Bizkit...Try listening to some of the bands I and Mussolini have mentioned..you will like it...eventually. Age is not a factor Sadabichar. I think I am old and I still like Metal plus all sort of music. |

sorry, il duce, spinal tap was a real band--a joke band, yes, but they really played their instruments, really cut an album ("break like the wind"), really played a show (ok, maybe two shows). then again, maybe weird al really isn't a musician, either. maybe amps shouldn't go up to "11." but, then again, maybe you're right--after all, any band that can't keep a drummer prolly can't really be a band now, can it? ;) |

Mussolini "headstrong" is by a new band called "Trapt" and it sucks.. And YoungBloo - Rap doesn't rap for me bro....haha you can keep it to your self. I like OUTCAST though..but hey there is always exception...isn't there? |

They are good indeed but i wouldn't say best bands in the world...and Let me mention..METALCROSS is the worst nepali band i have ever come across yaar..sucks big time...CORSSROAD was a joke...most of their music was a direct copy of Scropions..one of my fav.. |

What on earth is this ? all y'all know is what the radio plays for you. If you really want to discover real music you have look and find it instead of what the radio or the Record industry wants you to hear. There are millions of bands out there generating all kinds of different genres of music. Most of the music played on the radio and tv are being pushed by the industry(not because they are good). Like lil JoShmo Band will stand no chance when the music industry is pumping millions to market their product. Regardless of how good a band is...MONEY TALKS. Mo money.. mo muscle to work with. If you don't have $$$ or don't agree to be the record industry's slave you won't make it. Like all those boy Bands are nothing more than a puppet(no respect cause they cannot even play an instrument). Then comes the likes of Limp Biz, inkin' park, Korn, etc etc...the so called nu metal ?? Does not take that much to make that noise. But id you listen to COLDPLAY...melody in harmony(thats what I call music). Music is supposed to be relaxing to ease us from our tension, not generate anger, hatred, and violence(I hate you and want to kill you or rape you music like in woodstock II). |

Those are neither "bhaye bhar ko" nor " ALL the ones I know". Of course there are other bands out there that that I don't listen to. If you check list properly, you'll know some of your favourite bands are not on my list above.. Lonely, I have almost all songs by U2(mp3's). If you're interested, just let me know how I can transfer it to you. |

Mmmm.I guess when it comes to comparing bands in Nepal, 1974 is far way ahead.Though other bands like Mukti n Revival, Robin N Looza and Cobwebs are as good.In my opinion what makes 1974AD stand out is because of their verstility in different types of music.They can play jazz,blues,pop,folk rock etc etc and they do it very well.As far as I have listened to Nepali music,no bands has displayed such talent. There are so many bands in the world.For me I don't have any particular bands as my favourite.Therefore I prefer to listen variety of music like blues,rock,pop,country etc but I hate hip-hop and R n B. Being a music lover I have complete album of the following bands. Guns N Roses, Bee Gees, Beatles,Mettallica,Mr Big,Jim Hendirx,Dream Theatre,Queens and more. I have also downloaded quite number of songs from the net.If u want any particular song please feel free to let me know.I can put them on my homepage.But I can only put them in Realaudio format due to size constraint. Last but not least, music is just like taste some prefer sour,some sweet while others bitter.So there is no way ones taste of music is superior or better than others.So what do u think?
