I think Monday is preferrable to most Bostonians, that is when we usually play soccer here anyway. Is this part of the tournament that you (Help_desk_3) were talking about in the other thread? Or, do you see this as a separate match? It would be nice if Boston and CT could play each other every month or so? Make it more regular. We could reserve the field here (and it is a good field, by the way). What do you say? Bik.

Help_desk_3, I will bring this propostion up with our team-mates the next time we meet - coming Monday. Then, we can propose the first match between CT and Boston. Let's try to make this in weeks and not months. Also, let's propose more than just one day. Monday is best for us, but we will provide you with another option as well. Could you do the same from your side? We should also exchange phone numbers and email adds, so we can discuss offline as well. Mine is: 617-529-6240, bik555@hotmail.com. Let's plan on getting firm answers by Wednesday, 07/23/03. That will give both of us time to discuss with our team-mates. AX, NYC is welcome to join of course. Let us know how the plans we are proposing sound to you, and do feel free to contact me so we can talk in more detail. Bik.

Hey CT guys, I spoke with NY team yesterday and we wanted to play friendly match on August 2nd or 3rd. Boston guys, if also want to seup a friendly match between us lets get fix date. If CT guys can arrange a soccer field i think it will be easier for Boston and NY team to come there and play instead of travelling to Boston or Boston travelling to NY. givmme a call at 917-992-2399 if necessary.

Guys, Coming Saturday is not a good day for Bostonians to travel. We have a GBNC BBQ outing on Sunday afternoon. I will be meeting many of the players tonight and will bring up the stuff you guys have brought up, and will get in touch with you tomorrow (Tuesday). Could one of you elaborate on CT soccer grounds? How is it? Is it readily available? We, Bostonians, play on an excellent artificial grass (NOT TURF) and the field can be reserved for a decent price. Field is not always available, but we can alwasy check in advance. Bik.

Just so that no Bostonians are confused, there is NO game scheduled for Aug 2 between CT/NYC and Boston. We hope to have the first game between CT and Boston the week of Aug 4th. Our original plan, to have one on Aug 5th, has hit a snag, so stay posted for future updates. In the meantime, if you would like to participate (Bostonians), then please feel free to contact me at: bik555@hotmail.com. Or, just show up on Monday evenings at Freshpond, Cambridge. Rgds, Bik.

To all the soccer players of Boston.. Can we arrange a day in the weekend to play ? I mean only the ones that can make it. We used to play in the weekend all the time last year(there are a lotta players that can only play in weekends only too). How about playing this weekend for a practice. Maybe Saturday and Sunday ? What do you say people ?
