hey IT folks, how to stop nasty internet cookies? it just pops up when my computer is on....deleted cookies, but there must be something hidden that i dont know....how to remove? someone used my computer, and probably opened junk mails i guess...eversince he used my comp, i m having this problem...any Guru here to help me.... |

Get a firewall (ex: Zonealarm) and a ads killer (ex: adsgone). There are many different programs you can use , I think the ones I mentioned above pretty good. |

If pop up advertisements are the problem, you can download a software called popupstopper from download.com for free. Works wonders. |

Bhunte ji , On this page .Left top click TOOLS .And then Click INTERNET OPTIONS .and then click PRIVACY.Slide the privacy button upwards on the top .and then click APPLY. It will block all the cookies . I had the same problem . Uhi sadhai bhalo chahane PK |

Does that stuff get rid of DAT index files? I have this window media player icon in my temp folder and I have not been able to get rid of it even after using spybot. Any suggestions. I understand that sort of dat file indexes all your info not only cookies, but passwords and other sensitive infomation and they can be accessed by anyone who know how. Any ideas? |
