Read in Kantipuronline that "http://www.nepalmonarchy.gov.np" was launched on the occasion of the Kings birthday. I can't get to this site. Is it just me or is our royal site so crappy!!

The traffic volume must be really high, everyone's trying to get on it at the same time , thats my guess.

I am sure this is going to add more ire into the republican fire!! Where are the sajhapure republicans? May they ought to shoot this site out before it goes up!

I was able to vist the website. Its pretty cool, though few pages were under construction. When I tried in the afternoon, dint work, may be heavy traffic.

I don't think it is down because of heavy traffic. It may be having some other 'technical difficulties'.
ALso, I think the number of hits it may have received today would be way less than what sajha gets per day.

The site is up, browsed for a while. It seems a publicity of HM Gyanendra. Apart from many pages that were under construction, there is no mention anywhere about the Shah Kings. I checked the photo gallery, I couldnt find any pictures other than that of King G and Queen K. If the site was incomplete would have better to launch it after the completion. Also, I was expecting something about the lifestyle, history and culture of the Shah Kings. I hope the "under construction" pages would come up with something good worth browsing. To me it doesnt seem like the Offical Site of the Royal Court of Nepal as it is called on the Homepage. It is more like a personal page of King G.
