RamJi, So far i heard it's so hard to get green card thru DV who have been illegal and living inside same country (US). One of my friend had same situation like our friend, he was selected at DV 2003 and he told me that he is having hard time coz he is illegal. Anyway goodluck to you and your friend......thanks Well-wisher, Sagun

Ram pradad ji! I do not know much about DV2004. But i've heard that It's pretty darn complicated process. My advise, find a good lawyer who can help your buddy....

I heard recently about someone who was selected for DV 2004, was out of status, and decided to go back to Nepal and apply for an immigration visa from there. I donot know the person well enough to give you his contact info - but perhaps this is an option to explore with a lawyer. Regards.
