When our comrades left dangling packages of pipebomb over the road of Indrachowk, [it is difficult to guess] what they were thinking about, who was ordering the rebels to do that, and what their motive was! What next? Minefields in Budhanilakantha school because elites send their kids there? Timebomb in Putalisadak because MPs sit nearby in Pratinidhi sabhaa? O Comrades, what is your principle, what is your revolution, you are going to Kashi via Kooti ko baato. ********* ----------- ************ -------------------- I opposed the local security act a few threads ago. The incident in Indrachouk has forced me to review my decision. Will anybody tell me how is the govt supposed to bridle the fanatic bunch that stop at nothing? A openly left bomb in Indrachouck doesn't see who is the mom of Prachanda is, who is the sister of Ramchandra is,who is the aunt of Biswo is.. and can explode anytime a novice expert tries to defuse it. I don't understand what form of revolution our comrades are trying in Nepal by indescriminately killing people. It is time the govt start all out war against terrorism. A lot of unwitting callow youth from mountain joins Maoists. They don't stop from breaking the venerable statues of old temple, setting fire at Gumbaas, and banning people from following the time honored rituals. Should we give them freedom to do all these? The recent activity in Chitwan, Kathmandu and Morang is final straw. Now, it is a job of more efficient security apparatus to stop the nation from being virtually disintegrated. ****************** ---------- ********************* My China stay has shown me how terrible at times can a unorganized ragtag group of rebles can be. Man, such situation is terrible. War is not a fun. Nor is chaos. Ironically, the Nepalese populace seemed to be blase with eternal peace that is blessed to it since Sugauli Sandhi.Curfew has been fun to a lot of people. War has been news to the citizens. War is a terrible and worst happening, which irreversibly destroys historical heritages, breaks up the relation of human, dissolves society and family, and inflicts excruciating pain to all involves. There is no victory in war, contrary to popular belief. Victory is the word befitting game/gambling, in war, everybody loses something. A lot of family lost their precious prizes in the Maoist escapade. Let's not extend any moral support to the terrorists who so gleefully hurl bombs in civilian areas. ************----------**********-----------************** GBNC site often witnesses some quarrels among discussants.Since nobody is looking for a perfect world, it is fine to have a real life depiction of jealousy, contradiction, and groupism in our web community also. However, I think sometimes the writers get too personal. The articles get too provocative. May be there is somekind of inveterate enmity against a few persons in some persons here. When such enmity is transformed to petty accusations regarding monetary matters unrelated to this site, I feel very distasteful. Let's become mature, and forgive and forget. After all, we are not UML and NC, who can ignore the future of the whole nation by staging eternal quarrel, thereby even disrupting the whole sessions of parliament. Those who are strong in their persuasion skill , and those who are true in their belief doesn't need to be afraid of anything. They will win debate even in sane setting. Bira Bhogyaa Basundharaa..
