Please note that I have deleted the threads containing the picture of one lady which was posted by Biratnagare. I have also deleted the thread Marriage pictures posted by Bhunte.
This has never been an issue before but I was informed by the person whose picture was posted by Biratnagare that her picture was taken from her website and posted here to discuss whether she was cute or not - without her permission. She does not even know who biratnagare is. And, she found out through some personal friends of hers who happen to visit sajha.com.
This message serves as a notice to anyone who wants to post personal pictures that SAJHA is NOT a place to defame anyone or to indulge in character assasination. Posting someone's personal picture without their permission in order to get the sajha community to judge someone on their looks is NOT an acceptable use of the resources provided by sajha in order to bring together nepali communities.
In the future if any personal picture is posted, it must come with a note saying that permission has been granted by the person in picture to post it on sajha.com. In addition, if there is any inquiry about the posting, ALL THE INFORMATION OF THE POSTER WILL BE PROVIDED TO ANYONE requesting the posters info. This includes email address as well as other info retained by the web server. I do not want to put sajha.com's existence at risk because some people have no respect for other's privacy.
