it seems to stress the point that Nepaliese drank $21,000 worth of alcohol beverages in 3 days.
I do not know the actual participants in the convention but assuming that 1000 were there
i.e. $21000/1000 = $21/person i.e. $7.00/day i.e. about 2 drinks right ???
so 2 drinks/day big deal???
reduce the number to 500 then it comes to 4 drinks... i guess that's normal ain't it???
so how are the police surprised for decent behaviour?
are they expecting people to get drunk by 2-4 drinks???

Rakshi is a part of the most of Nepali cultures, hoina ra? One of my newar school teachers used to tell us his life story. He was like, when he was a kid, he used to have homemade-alcohol-poured-chiura for the breakfast re. hehe...!!

Our liver can breakdown 1 ounce of alcohol in 2 hrs and 30 min. Alcohol is hydrophilic (water wanting) therefore, as soon as you drink it, the alcohol will mix with your blood stream as quickly as possible. That makes you thirsty, eh?
Then that one ounce of alcohol will take 2 hrs and 30 mins to be processed by your liver. Which means, a can of beer (330mL) with 5% alcohol, you blood stream will be free of alcohol in 1 hr and 30 mins. This may not be true for females, coz thier hormone system reacts to alcohol a little bit in a different way.
The reason why you still have hangover, coz your liver is not yet done processing what you drank last nite!
