Should not impact at all. While you apply for Canadian PR Visa, you would be sending them necessary documents that include photocopies of your passports initial four pages or so. If the PR visa is rejected, Canada doesn't stamp your passport saying so, since your passport never reached there. I have never heard so. Even if you mistakenly sent your passport to them, and they have stamped "Rejection for PR to Canada" blah blah, you better lose that passport, and get the new one. Then apply to US Visa. I am sure the PR application rejection will not be reported by Canada to the US Govt. unless there is real threat to terrorism.
