The name is Prasanna Dhoj Pradhan. "Would you believe that there is a talented Nepali artist who is popular in the USA for funk and world music? An artist who has worked with bands like "Peasant Syndrome", "Violet Archena" and "Spank" and has even released his album called "Bird of Passage" in collaboration with Steve Areen. Now guess what, he is in Nepal at present and is ready to release a Nepali album titled "Enerzee". Nepali music listeners will be able to taste a new genre of music. thanks ya all... Gurl_Interup it me the longest time to get what you meant.. :) well you did make some weird faces... dont know what exactly to make out of them. A friend of mine sent me another link to his songs. http://www.voiceofnepal.com/remixes.html Kalankisthan, I believe you when you said that he sounded like George Michael when he was young. I dont think his style has changed that much even today. His tunes "sound" so much like other peoples even today. I feel kinda bad for all the things i have written about him but hey if you gonna be something as big as " a talented Nepali artist who is popular in the USA for funk and world music" then you better back it up with something right??? Youp, Kalanki is right. He is the son of famous singer Mr. Prem Dhoj Pradhan. I had chance to listen to one of his song back in 1999, it was nothing more than a ditto copy of FAITH. And ofcourse! he acted like GM all along the song. I would probably call that song a nepali version of FAITH. Since then, I am noticing that his songs are following the same foot steps. May be it is just me but I do not see anything creative in his imitation rather than an electronic arrangement. |

I know him personally. At least, I knew him when he was in Nepal. I never heard from him after he flew to the USA. Yes, he IS the elder of the two sons of Prem Dhoj Pradhan. And now something that would be interesting for SIXX: Prasanna is a Xavierian. Batch of 1990 or 1991 - I am kinda confused. |
