This is Sajhapur, you'll get suggestions the least when you need it the most!

bideshi ji, GPA and GRE are few among other factors for PhD admission with a fellowship. He needs good research essay when he applies, and obviously good recommendation letters from previous mentors or employer. if he has a very fascinative CVs with publication records, that will be super...he need to check in the homepages of US universities for other details. meanwhile suggest him to check at Yahoo's US education pages... btw, ask him to visit PhD thread in this Sajha's kurakani link. that may help him to make up his mind or be prepared for the worst....

Ruck baini, ma kaha bepatta hunu ni. was bz as usual these days....baru POONTE po kaha bepatta bho kaha ajkal.... tyo bideshi sathi lai PhD thread refer garera tarsayeko hoina ni...there are enough signals and good pieces of information whether one really wants to go for a PhD or not. Obviously, it one has to sacrifice enough time, money, energy, be away from family life, and many many info. it appears to me 'bideshi' himself looking for that info. having PhD also doesn't gurantee suitable job immediately either...need lots of passion....

Hi, I am the friend bideshi was refering to. I didn't know she had posted this on sajha until just now when I visited his/her home.;-) Thanks Bhunte for the suggestion. I did visit the Ph.d thread a couple days ago and am planning to visit again. BTW if any body knows about a job for Database (Oracle 8i,9i - 4 semester course) and XML,XSL, Java expert then let me know. I do not require sponsorship for 1 year to work in US.
