Does anyone know how to submit a site to google? I have recently made a website of my own and want it to show up in the results(not in google directory) of a google search with certain keywords. Any ideas? |

Include the keywords in meta tag? eh... just a wild guess!!! Website address yetai chaapum na baru... hernum na haami pani!!! |

As far as I know, Google doesn't work with Metatags. That is why it is one of the best search engine. The founders of Google, some Standford students, developed the concept of PageRank which ranks pages by the number of links it gets from other pages. The idea is, the more reference (links) a page gets, the better it is ...so it should be returned in the first page of the search results. I am not sure if there is any software to keep your site on top of the Google Search result. If your site is good and popular then many other pages will reference it and it will climb the Google Hierarchy. I checked on Google, and it does offer URL submission page. It doesn't guarantee the top level treatment to your page, but it is good to start: - http://www.google.com/addurl.html One lame way to put your page on top is to create many other websites and put a link to your main site.
