I saw the program 'Chintan Manan' of NTV of the last Saturday in the net where, the program host called Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani to discuss the issue related to exchangeing of letters among the government and the maoists. He has termed it as 'Letter Politics" My question on this are:
1. Why did NTV call Dr. Lohani instead of Kamal Thapa? Mr. Thapa is the actual convenor of the government side. The issue was so sensitive and why the member was made to speak instead of the convenor?
2. Dr. Lohani said that the dialogue team of maoists are very much co-operating in their informal talk whereas they are sending letters with never-said conditions in their letters. Does it mean that there is a strong conflict between the two layers of leadership in maoist party? If it is so, it is a dangerous sign.
3. Dr. Lohani said, the government does not care whatever language the maoists use in their letter. Why? Is it acceptable to us? When there is an agreed formal code of ethics, why does the government team ignore such language?
We are really concerned with such matters.

Good questions, but from when did Mr. Lohani start answering public questions on Sajha?
I don' t mean to dis-hearten you, but that's the first thought that came into my mind. I hope our sajhaites engage themselves on these issues.

thanks for bringing this issue. Though I did not get an oppertunity to watch that show, I heard it is one of the good program in NTV nowadays.
Anything from fellow sajha members?
