Just a short note to congratulate a former Boston Nepali -- Roop
Jyoti -- on his being elevated, by the King last week, as a member of the Upper House in the Nepali Parliament.
Jyoti -- a scion of the Jyoti Group, one of Nepal's leading industrial houses -- holds three Harvard degrees (MBA, MPA and
a PhD), and here's a toast to wish that that Jyoti will use his knowledge PLUS national and international networks to push/lobby for activities that help the process of desh ko bikas.
