How about we discuss here anonymous vs real nick names ?
I like anonymous nick name because, it protects you. You can say , write whatever you like. No fear of defamation law suit. Attack anybody without evidence- still you remain protected! Also you can write about in any unpopular untasteful topic. No fear of reprisal for what you wrote. You are clean slate. Nobody knows you , nobody envies you. You are what you write. You earn repute/disrepute on the basis of what you write. No fear of being profiled or stalked.
